Step Into the LEGO® Shophouse Experience at Design Orchard
There’s something new to explore in the heart of Orchard Road, and it’s one that feels both familiar and refreshingly different.
From 13 March to 5 April 2026, the LEGO® Shophouse Experience takes over Design Orchard, turning it into an immersive space where local culture meets creativity through LEGO® bricks.
Open daily from 11AM to 9PM, this limited-time pop-up invites you to step into a reimagined Singaporean home, one that blends heritage, design, and play in a truly unique way.
A Familiar Space, Reimagined
Inspired by the charm of traditional shophouses, this experience recreates the feeling of stepping into a lived-in home that is warm, inviting, and full of character.
Instead of just showcasing builds, the space brings together local design influences and LEGO creativity, offering a fresh perspective on how everyday surroundings can be transformed through imagination.
It’s a quiet mix of nostalgia and discovery, something you’ll notice as you move from one room to the next.

The experience is designed like a real home, with each area offering a different mood and story.

Entrance: A Bold First Impression Start your journey at a striking entrance feature inspired by traditional Peranakan tiles, recreated using LEGO bricks to form a vibrant and eye-catching backdrop. |
Dining & Living Areas: Everyday Life, Reimagined A lively dining area features patterns and colours inspired by local culture, while the living space showcases how LEGO pieces, especially botanical builds, can double as decorative elements in modern homes. |

Kids’ Space: Light, Soft, and Imaginative The kids’ room feels softer and more whimsical, with gentle tones, playful details, and cosy corners that encourage imagination and storytelling. |
Adult Space: Modern & Expressive One of the rooms takes on a more contemporary feel, with a bolder design language, layered lighting, and curated displays that reflect personality and individuality. |
Community Builds: Creativity from Fans
You’ll also come across builds contributed by LEGO fans, adding another layer to the experience and showcasing how creativity can take many different forms.

Complete Your Postcard & Continue the Experience
As you explore, you’ll be invited to take part in a simple interactive activity.
Pick up a card and collect coloured stamps throughout the different rooms. With each stop, your design gradually comes together, forming a special postcard inspired by local heritage.
Once completed, make your way to the retail area just opposite Design Orchard (in front of Victoria’s Secret) to continue the experience.
Here, you can create your very own build, available in limited quantities daily:
