LEGO® MINIFIGURE(S) OF THE MONTH February 2026 | Young Wu, The First Spinjitzu Master & Young Garmadon

LEGO® MINIFIGURE(S) OF THE MONTH

February 2026 | Young Wu, The First Spinjitzu Master & Young Garmadon

This month, we’re spotlighting three legendary characters from the LEGO® NINJAGO® The Old Town 15th Anniversary (71861) set — Young Wu, the First Spinjitzu Master and Young Garmadon.

These figures represent the origins of the NINJAGO legacy — the master who created the world, and the two brothers whose destinies would shape its future.

One represents wisdom in the making.
One represents the beginning of everything.
One stands at the crossroads before darkness.

Together, they bring the story of NINJAGO’s founding family to life in brick form.

Young Wu – The Future Sensei

Long before he became the wise mentor guiding the ninja, Wu was a young warrior learning the art of Spinjitzu.

This minifigure captures Wu in his early days of training, with robes that reflect his journey as a disciplined student. The tea cup he carries is a subtle nod to the calm and thoughtful Sensei fans would come to know.

It’s a glimpse into the beginning of a character who would one day become one of NINJAGO’s greatest teachers.

The First Spinjitzu Master – Creator of the World

At the centre of the trio stands the legendary First Spinjitzu Master, the powerful figure who created the world of NINJAGO.

With ornate robes, a traditional conical hat and a golden staff, the minifigure captures the mystical presence of the founder of Spinjitzu. As the father of Wu and Garmadon, he represents the beginning of the entire NINJAGO story.

More than a character, he is the origin of the legacy.

Young Garmadon – Before the Darkness

Before he became one of NINJAGO’s most iconic villains, Garmadon was once a warrior training alongside his brother Wu.

This minifigure shows him in his younger days, wearing robes that mirror Wu’s design and reflect their shared upbringing. The small red cup he carries adds a playful detail while hinting at the different path his story would eventually take.

A closer look at Young Garmadon’s facial expression also tells its own story. The slightly intense, determined look hints at the inner conflict that would eventually shape his destiny — a subtle clue to the powerful and complex character he would become.

A Legacy Begins

Together, these three minifigures represent the roots of the NINJAGO universe — creator, teacher and brother.

One built the world.
One would guide the heroes.
One would become a legend in his own way.

It’s this powerful connection to NINJAGO’s origins that makes February’s Minifigure of the Month a meaningful tribute to the theme’s 15th anniversary.
