LEGO® MINIFIGURE(S) OF THE MONTH September 2021 | Marvel Studios

WANDAVISION

Wandavision takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Scarlet Witch

Wanda is in her Scarlet Witch's costume complete with  brand new unique red headpiece. The torse of her  outfit is ultra detailed and comes with  red and elbow length gloves. Her alternate face has her red glowing eyes that manifest when she uses her Chaos Magic. Her crown is fused to her distinctive hairpiece and she comes with 2 red power blast elements.

The Vision

Joining Wanda is white Vision, S.W.O.R.D.'s project to reconstruct Vision's body, His minifigure torso stays true to the designer rule of not using any black lines and features reflective silver and gold sections showing the connections of chips and parts in his body. His laptop uses printed elements for decorations that feature a keyboard, a screen featuring the S.W.O.R.D. logo and a diagram of Wanda and Vision’s house within the Hex.

Monica Rambeau

Finishing the WandaVision trio is Monica Rambeau is the daughter of the late Maria Rambeau and founder of S.W.O.R.D. She is the first LEGO Minifigure of a S.W.O.R.D. agent and her uniform is minimalistic. Her brick-built drone/helicopter consists of a 1x1 cheese slope, a 1x1 brick with a side stud, a clip and a 3L bar. Her hairpiece is extremely textured and creative.

THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER

Captain America/Falcon

Sam Wilson (The Falcon) has taken up Captain America’s shield after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

Sam's Captain America x Falcon's outfit is awesome and takes its inspiration from the Wakandans. His Captain America coloured wings are printed on both sides and include the 2x2 triangular Redwing drone. Metallic paint has been used for his stars, belt and goggles and he has a new hairpiece. Complete with Captain America’s shield he is by far the most detailed of this series.

Winter Soldier

The 106 year old Bucky is decked out in his iconic navy blue and black outfit for his 5th appearance as a Minifigure. The standout feature on this minifigure is his superbly printed Vibranium arm. He also carries the Captain America shield, a nod to his brief stint with the Captain America mantle.

LOKI

Moving on to Loki: After stealing the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame (2019), an alternate version of Loki is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA), a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space and monitors the timeline.

Loki’s ‘Variant’ uniform of brown jacket and dark brown pants identically mirrors his TVA uniform right down to the belt buckle, square tie and trouser creases. The back of his jacket features the word VARIANT in orange lettering.

Sylvie

A God of Mischief variant of Loki appears in the show in the form of Sylvie. She is determined to find out the truth behind the TVA. Her Minifigure uses a new blonde hairpiece which incorporates her broken Loki crown. Her alternate face features her confident grin, completing an outfit that is true to the series. Her accessory is a green sword, the colour replicates how Loki’s magic is portrayed on screen. She is accompanied by another Loki variant, Alligator Loki who looks very cute and like a baby alligator.

WHAT IF...?

T’Challa Star-Lord is an alternate universe theory tackled in the show. Instead of being Black Panther, he is now the spunky Star Lord, wearing a Wakandan-like purple jacket with gold trim and black boots with printed jet boot attachments. This is also the first T’Challa face without his Black Panther mask! Similar to Captain America he is sporting a new Afro hairpiece but with smooth back and sides. He comes with silver quad blasters and an exclusive purple eyed Star Lord helmet.

Captain Carter (Peggy) appears with intricately-printed recognisable Union Jack emblems arms, legs and torso, as well as a new hair element that matches the 1950s-classic style. Her boots are incredibly detailed, right down to the side straps. She carries a matching Union Jack styled shield and aTesseract made of opalescent bricks for that genuine cosmic sparkle feel

Gamora with the double bladed Blade of Thanos is a fearsome warlord seen wearing her adoptive father Thanos' armour. Her metallic gold torso shimmers in the light and features incredibly detailed black torso printing. Her hair, torso, and legs all provide new prints.

Zombie Hunter Spidey is wearing the older fabric version of the Cloak of Levitation better known on Doctor Strange. Peter Parker has managed to survive a zombie apocalypse, a task that presumably the mystical Doctor failed to achieve. His arm printing includes the web shooters on his wrists and you can a swap out the Spider-Man head for Peter’s slightly shocked and scared expression. His accessory is a web string with climbing grips unique to this minifigure.

Zombie Captain America is the mint coloured, undead version of the super soldier inspired by the line of transformed heroes from the Marvel Zombies run of comic books. His outfit and shield is tattered and worn away to demonstrate his undead state including an oddly adorable bite mark in one of the helmet’s printed wings which is probably what turned him into a zombie.
