Minifigure of the Month-Meet the main cast of the original Jurassic Park Movie

75936 LEGO® Jurassic Park T Rex Rampage

The largest Jurassic Park set to date brings together the most iconic aspects of the film combining the terrifying T Rex and the maingate, the back of which is packed with original mini dioramas from the film.

Further reinforcing the cult of the film are the main characters from the original film in minifigure form, 4 of whom are exclusive to this set.

Our out and out favourite is Dennis Nedry (nerdy!), computer programmer and instigator of the Isla Nublar Incident.

His minifigure completely captures his nerdy look with pot belly detailing, yellow anorak and we LOVE the 2 sided head.  Side 1 with geek glasses, side 2 with tar like venom splat from the Dilophosaurus that killed him.

This is the first time he has been featured in a LEGO set and he's spot on.

The other 5 minifigures are a great addition to your Jurassic World cast too,  with 3 more of them getting their first outing in T-Rex Rampage.

Jeff Goldblum's sweaty character Ian Malcolm is a world renowned mathematician. But that doesn't mean he's a geek.  He's depicted as shirtless and sweaty with his bare chested open shirt print and beads of sweat on his face.  His prediction that 'life finds a way' certainly came true.

John Hammond, CEO and creator of Isla Nublar,  is another minifigure making his virgin appearance.  His suit is spot on and his teeth gap very nicely done.  he comes complete with hat and cane, but disappointingly, no mosquito detail.

The final character to feature first in this set is Ray Arnold, Chief Computer Engineer.  Described as a thin, chain smoking man, his minifigure lacks his permanent cigarette for obvious reasons.

The final 2 characters, Ellie Sattler and Alan Grant have featured in previous sets but are too iconic a part of the franchise to be missed out here.

Ellie's hair is in a new blonde up-do and her legs are designed with great definition between her shorts and boots.  Alan (Sam McNeill) Grant, paeleontologist, sports his characteristic fedora and red necktie. as previously, his outfit is spot on to the film.  We particularly like his raptor claw accessory!

Rounding the set off is a cute baby dino.

LEGO Jurassic Park T Rex Rampage S$379.90 is available in all LEGO Certified Stores (Bricks World) and here .
