No LEGO® Pokémon™ in Singapore? Build Your Own!
You don’t need an official Pokémon set to start building your own Pokémon team.
Pokémon and LEGO® have finally come together and fans around the world can now get their hands on official LEGO Pokémon sets. But there’s just one problem for Pokémon fans in Singapore: the LEGO Pokémon range isn’t currently available through LEGO in Singapore.
So, what’s a Pokémon-loving LEGO fan to do?
Get creative!
One of the best things about LEGO is that you don’t always have to build what’s on the front of the box. With a little imagination, and the right set of bricks, you can transform an existing LEGO set into something completely different.
Turn a LEGO set into Eevee
Eevee from LEGO® Creator 3-in-1 Cute Animals: Playful Puppy Dog (31382)
This might be one of our favourites. Joffre has taken the pieces from LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Cute Animals: Playful Puppy Dog (31382) and reimagined them as the adorable Eevee.

The clever part? No extra LEGO pieces are needed. The Eevee alternate build uses the parts from the original set, turning something designed as a puppy into a completely different character. It’s a brilliant example of what makes alternate LEGO builds so much fun: you don't necessarily need more bricks, sometimes you just need to see the bricks you already have differently.
If Eevee shows what you can create using the pieces in the set, Joffre's Rowlet takes the idea one step further.
This adorable Rowlet build uses LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Cute Animals: Playful Puppy Dog (31382), plus just two extra leaf pieces.
That's it.

With a handful of clever building techniques and a little imagination, the same set that can become a puppy can be transformed into one of Pokémon's cutest characters.
Joffre's Eevee and Rowlet builds are available through Rebrickable.
Your LEGO collection could be hiding a Pokémon
And these are'nt the only possibility.
There’s a huge community of LEGO builders creating MOCs and alternate builds on Rebrickable. The platform allows LEGO fans and designers to share their creations and, in many cases, provide building instructions so other fans can recreate them.
Joffre's work is a great example of this idea in action. His designs have included everything from character builds to alternate models created entirely from the parts of a single LEGO set.
That means the next time you look at a LEGO box, don't just ask:
“What can I build with this set?”
Try asking:
“What else could I build with these bricks?”
Build your own Pokémon adventure
This way is that you can start with sets you may already have at home, or choose an existing LEGO set based on the character you want to create.
You could even make it a challenge:
🔴 Pick a set - Choose a LEGO set with interesting colours, shapes and pieces.
🟡 Pick a Pokémon- Which Pokémon could those pieces become?
🔵 Rebuild - Follow an existing alternate-build design, or challenge yourself to create your own.
🟢 Build your team- Once you've created one Pokémon, why stop there?
Before long, you could have your very own LEGO Pokémon team, all without owning an official Pokémon set.
The Pokémon sets might not be here yet… but the possibilities are.
The arrival of LEGO Pokémon is exciting for fans everywhere, but being in Singapore doesn't mean you have to sit on the sidelines.
Official sets give you the instructions. Your imagination gives you the possibilities.
So grab that LEGO set sitting on the shelf, take another look at those bricks and see what you can come up with.
