Ralf is an expert on building stunning original LEGO creations and is generous in sharing the building techniques he uses. Here are some of the insights on his latest build:
Ralf: "I used 3 different patterns and also different colour combinations. This was not an explicit design choice but I needed to improvise because I did not have enough parts for one technique only. The bend trunc is part 87745."
Ralf: "The basic technique is really simple. I used a septagonal here. The rest is hexagonal.
Ralf: "The variation with the pins is a bit tricky. But the general pattern is so easy and looks great."
