"The pen is truly mightier than the sword"  - Joker

Tim Burton's 1989 Batman film is truly a classic. In 2019, the LEGO Batmobile based on this iconic film was released. This year, fans have another exciting time ahead as  the Batwing is created in LEGO form.

Take a look back the iconic characters reincarnated into LEGO Minifigures!

Of course, one cannot have enough of the Caped Crusader. Batman is identical to the LEGO 1989 Batmobile (76139) version with his exclusive flowing cowl. His outfit shows off his cool muscles, utility belt, and is accompanied by his Batarang.

However, we now get two LEGO-only exclusives.  A rendition of The Joker in his mime costume and a Boombox goon.

The Joker looks more menacingly in his black and white checked suit. Referencing his memorable quote "The pen is truly mightier than the sword." , he comes with a poisoned quill pen that he used on Ricorso's neck.

The Joker is accompanied by one of his goons. He sports Joker's signature purple colour jacket with Joker's face above the pocket, a Jack playing card armprint, and a dice on the collar as seen in the iconic museum scene in the 1989 film.
