LEGO® MINIFIGURE(S) OF THE MONTH March 2020 | Celebrate 10 Years of Collectible Minifigures

10 years and 32 Collectible Minifigures Series later, Series 20 will launch on 27th April 2020!

GREEN BRICK SUIT GUY and LLAMA COSTUME GIRL

The Tenth  Anniversary Green Brick Suit Guy is this series leader.  He joins Brick Suit Guy (Red) and Brick Suit Girl (Blue) from Series 18.  He’s celebrating with his silver number 10 plate.

With him is this series’ animal minifigure, Llama  Girl. She has awesome hoof printed feet  and she's holding onto a carrot she can snack on.

PEAPOD COSTUME GIRL and RESCUE DIVER

Another fan favourite are food costume minifigures. Peapod Girl is totally colour co-ordinated, right down to her green lipstick.!  She’s even getting her 5 a day with a red  apple accessory.

Our sea rescuer is environmentally focused with  a plant and sea turtle accessories. The first diving mask element appeared in 1997 in a LEGO Town subtheme.  This time our sea rescuer is more equipped for snorkelling than the deep sea.

SUPER WARRIOR and KNIGHT

Anime and superhero fans get a unique minifigure they can relate to with the Super Warrior. His helmet and outfit remind us of Power Rangers don't you think? His sword is extremely unique long green element.

Fans of the classic Castle series will be delighted to see another Knight for their collection. First appearing in 1978 we’ve seen norman helmets, grill helmets, visors and more but this style of helmet was first seen on Lion Knights in 2010.  Is his bird a throwback to the Black Falcon knights? And where’s his horse?

VIKING and PIRATE

Another classic favourite for long time LEGO fans is the Pirate theme.  She’s not the first female pirate, frills and swashbucklers have been around since 1989, but they are very much in the minority.  We can only find 4 including this one and she’s definitely the most badass!

The Viking minifigure’s  un-horned helmet is extremely unique and more akin to castle knights than previous Vikings.  With detailed armour, a cape and matching shield he looks every bit the Scandinavian warrior.

PIÑATA KID and PAJAMA KID

To complete the festivities, we welcome Piñata Kid wearing a brown sombrero and a colourful poncho. His poncho matches his horse piñata which he is ready to whack with his stick.

To accompany LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 6's Sleepyhead guy, we now have a cute Pajama Kid holding her rabbit doll and wearing matching pink rabbit-print pajamas.

NUNCHUCK GUY and BREAKDANCER

For the more active fans, we have these two.

Physical sport fans will love this fierce looking Martial Arts Boy who has been renamed Nunchuck Guy by some fans. Aside from his nunchucks, his minifigure head is also printed with a traditional karate headband.

While music lovers will love jamming with the hip Breakdancer. Her outfit is very modern, and her hair is also a unique dark pink colour. With her teal boombox on hand she’s ready to show off her breakdancing moves.

KEYTAR PLAYER and DRONE GUY

Along with Hip Hop Dancer Girl is our 80’s musician the Keytar Player. His expression shows how he's pouring out his soul through his music with his "keytar".

For Tech Geeks, we have the Drone Guy who might be a beginner as it seems he has accidentally hit himself with his drone and had to put a band-aid on his face. Ooops!

ATHLETE and SPACE FAN

Athlete has just won a gold medal. Good job!  No doubt she’ll be missing the Tokyo Olympics this year.

Alongside her is Space Fan. She probably owns NASA LEGO sets such as the Women of NASA, Apollo Saturn V, Lunar Lander, CiTY Space, and the International Space Station. Her whole outfit from her pink hat, spaceship shirt, and jeans are all space related.. She has a blueprint of a rocket and a wrench which she might have used to build her model rocket. Definitely a perfect addition to any NASA collection!
