The Weekend Formula 1® Takes Over

WHEN THE CITY BECOMES THE CIRCUIT
The city feels different when race weekend arrives. The roar of the engines, the lights around the circuit, team colours everywhere and conversations about drivers, strategies and who is taking the win. For a few days, Formula 1® takes over, and whether you have followed every race this season or simply love the atmosphere, it is hard not to get caught up in it.
That same passion lives on through LEGO® bricks, capturing the machines, engineering and personalities that define the sport. From recreating an F1® car in intricate detail to displaying the helmet of a driver you follow every race weekend, these builds turn some of the most recognisable icons on the grid into pieces worth displaying long after the chequered flag falls.

BUILD YOUR STARTING GRID
Before the full grid arrived in LEGO® bricks, it started with just a couple of F1® machines. LEGO® Speed Champions launched in 2015, with early Formula 1® releases such as the McLaren Mercedes Pit Stop 75911. Fast forward a decade and LEGO® brought all 10 F1® teams to Speed Champions, letting fans recreate an entire starting grid.
That is what makes them so much fun during race weekend. McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes, Red Bull and the rest of the field can all have their place in your collection. Line them up, recreate the rivalries and decide for yourself who deserves pole position.

BENEATH THE BODYWORK
Once you have seen the grid, it is time to look beneath the bodywork. Because an F1® car might look incredible flying past at full speed, but some of its most fascinating details are the ones you rarely get to see.
The LEGO® Technic Mercedes AMG F1 W14 E Performance 42171 brings you closer to the machine, with a differential, moving pistons, working steering and suspension, and an opening rear wing inspired by the real car’s DRS. Suddenly you are not watching from the grandstand. You are imagining yourself inside the garage, understanding the machine before it heads back onto the circuit

BEHIND THE VISOR
Now step away from the car. The real story is sitting inside it.
Behind every overtake, late braking move and split second decision is a driver pushing themselves and the machine to the limit. And if your colours are papaya, two names matter: Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.
Their LEGO® Editions helmets capture one of the most personal symbols in F1®. Put them together and you can almost picture the McLaren garage before lights out, both drivers suited up, visors down and waiting for the call to head to the grid.

OR ARE YOU SEEING RED?
If Papaya isn’t your colour then perhaps you are seeing red.
Few colours in motorsport carry quite the same weight as Ferrari red. Now imagine the Scuderia garage on race day: Lewis Hamilton on one side, Charles Leclerc on the other, helmets on and the Prancing Horse behind them. Their LEGO® Editions Scuderia Ferrari HP Lewis Hamilton Helmet 43022 and Charles Leclerc Helmet 43014 sets capture something deeply personal to each driver, but together they represent something bigger: two of the biggest names on the grid carrying one of F1®’s most legendary teams into its next chapter.
For the Tifosi, race weekend does not get much more Ferrari than this.
WHEN THE CIRCUIT COMES TO YOU
At a time when racing feels more iconic than ever, the worlds of LEGO® building and Formula 1® come together.
Feel the pressure of a starting grid, put your reactions to the test, get closer to the cars and share the excitement with fans who understand why every millisecond, every overtake and every brick matters. Because being an F1® fan is more than watching cars go around a circuit, just as being a LEGO® fan is more than finishing a build. It is the anticipation, the details, the creativity and that feeling of being completely lost in something you love.
The chequered flag will eventually fall and the circuit will go quiet. But the stories, rivalries and moments from race weekend stay with us. And sometimes, all it takes is a handful of bricks to experience them all over again.
