From Idea to Reality

The concept for the Minifigure Vending Machine began with fan builder Goosestore (Rob Vangansewinkel), who was inspired by a real gumball machine from his childhood. After nearly 20 prototypes and two years of fan support on LEGO Ideas, his creation was reimagined and perfected by LEGO designers Hoang Dang and Chris McVeigh.

Thanks to this partnership, the final product stays true to Rob’s original idea while adding polish, functionality, and that signature LEGO playability.
