LEGO® MINIFIGURE(S) of the MONTH - Doctor Doom
LEGO® Doctor Doom Minifigure Guide
Heroes get the glory. Doctor Doom brings the drama.
Since his debut in Fantastic Four #5 in 1962, Victor Von Doom has ruled Latveria, mastered science and sorcery, and made life particularly difficult for the Fantastic Four.
With his iconic metal mask, imposing armor and signature green cloak, Doom was practically made for LEGO® minifigure form.
Doom’s LEGO® Debut
Doctor Doom made his LEGO® minifigure debut in 2013 with 76005 Spider Man: Daily Bugle Showdown. Featuring his signature green hood and cape, metallic mask and detailed armour, the minifigure brought Doom’s classic comic book appearance into LEGO® form for the first time.
13 Years without Doom
Despite being one of Marvel’s most iconic villains, Doctor Doom would not appear as a physical LEGO® minifigure again for 13 years. His long absence made the original 2013 version an increasingly sought after minifigure among LEGO® Marvel collectors.
Doctor Doom Returns
In 2026, Doctor Doom finally returns with two new minifigures. The LEGO® Marvel Advent Calendar 2026 (76340) brings Doom into the festive season with a fresh take on his classic comic inspired look, while the Doctor Doom Bust (76345) takes a darker turn with a cinematic version inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.
From festive Doom to Doomsday Doom, 2026 marks quite the comeback for Marvel’s iconic villain.
THREE MINIFIGURES. ONE ICONIC VILLAIN.
From his 2013 debut to his long-awaited return in 2026, Doctor Doom’s LEGO® history may be brief, but his presence is anything but. With his iconic mask, armor and flowing cape, each minifigure captures the unmistakable look of Marvel’s legendary ruler of Latveria.
After battling the Fantastic Four, mastering science and sorcery, and even ruling reality as God Emperor, becoming a LEGO® minifigure feels only right.
And knowing Doom, he probably thinks three versions are not nearly enough.
